Beta reading involves a fresh set of eyes looking over your novel to eliminate potential plot holes, find last-minute grammar and spelling errors, and to provide overall feedback on what works and doesn’t work. It is not a substitute for a proper edit, but goes a long way to polishing your novel ready for publication. Sometimes, beta reading is requested before an edit is done; other times, an author would like a last-minute opinion before they send it off to an agent or publisher.
We are happy to provide free beta reading services for authors who have no support groups and would like a second opinion on their novel. We are experienced readers and writers who love what we do.
